Hermione might be CINDERELLA after all

image

Even though she is already set to play Belle in a new version of Beauty and the Beast (which is PERFECT casting, btw), word on the street has it that Harry Potter star Emma Watson is in talks to play Cinderella in Kenneth Branagh’s newest take on the fairy tale. This one already has Cate Blanchett as the evil step-mother, so it’s got to be at least mostly decent.

How do you feel about Watson possibly playing TWO Disney princesses? Is that weird?

Deleted Scenes from HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART II Arrive Online, Make You Weep

I’ve never really been a fan of deleted scenes. If it wasn’t in the movie, I don’t want to see it. I don’t want to think how much I would have liked it to be in the movie or wonder endless why WHY WHY they decided to leave it on the cutting room floor.

That being said, when it comes to Harry Potter, I sing a different tune. I had to watch. I read a list of the scenes included and…I just had to.

I think most of them were pretty inconsequential and didn’t hold any weight one way or another—in or out of the movie. So, I feel okay with that. The only scene that I desperately wish had been included was the one with Lupin and Tonks. I won’t say anymore, as I don’t want to spoil it. It’s very short, but very sweet. I die. I so wish it had been added to the final film. WHYYYYYYYY. See, there I go.

I did like the one with Harry walking with Ginny as well, though it was great to see him jump out in such a grand fashion in the film too, so I’m on the fence about whether I would have liked it in there or not. Again, this is why I have such a problem with watching deleted scenes. If I loved the movie the way it was, please don’t torture me with what could have been. PLEASE. Especially with HP. I CAN’T EVEN.

Please enjoy. Or get depressed. Pick your poison.
